Bea Gaddy Family Centers

Join the Bea Gaddy Family Center the evening before Thanksgiving and help prepare the venue for the 45th Annual Bea Gaddy Thanksgiving Dinner.

Student volunteers will assist with pre-staging and set-up to help create an organized, welcoming space for Thanksgiving Day. Tasks may include arranging tables and chairs, organizing supplies, staging food-service areas, moving materials, sorting items, and assisting with other set-up needs throughout the evening.

Through this hands-on experience, students will have the opportunity to build teamwork, responsibility, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills while making a meaningful contribution to the community.

Volunteers should be prepared to assist with lifting, carrying, sorting, organizing, and other tasks as needed throughout the event.

Special Opportunity: Students who volunteer on this date will earn DOUBLE community service hours for the time they serve.

Dress Code

• T-shirts and jeans are acceptable.

• Closed-toe shoes are required.

• No flip-flops, sandals, or shorts.

• Clothing must be neat, clean, and appropriate for a community service environment.

• Undergarments must not be visible.

• Participants should maintain a positive, respectful, and professional appearance and attitude.
