Service-Learning Hours- Students

Start Time: 10:00am End Time: 2:00pm
Who: High School Students only in need of Service-Learning Hours
What: Will perform tasks as sorting canned goods and non-perishable
Will unload will unload vehicles as needed
Will perform general maintenance
Where: Bea Gaddy Family Centers, 425 N. Chester Street
Dress: Warmly, you will be working from outside to inside and inside of a cooler. Safe nonslip shoes
Service-Learning/Community Service Hours: Are available for students with proper documentation. Each Student will be given two (2) hours for every hour of service.
Student’s Responsibilities:
- Must ensure that they have cleared this service with school counselors prior to attending.
- Must adhere to the dress code
- Must present a pleasant attitude and willingness to be here.
Note: Please be mindful that you signing up for a slot does not include another person or other people. Each person must signup individually
DRESS CODE
- Tee-Shirts and jeans are acceptable
- Closed toe shoes only- as we work with canned goods, and they sometimes fall
- No flip flops, sandals or, shorts
- Jeans are okay belts must be always worn
- No overly exposed skin will be allowed (.i.e. belly buttons, breast etc…)
- Undergarments will not be allowed to be displayed under clothes at anytime
- Must be dressed in a pleasant, ready for the day personality always
